I'm trying not to drink Mon-Friday to give the liver a rest.
Except there's a sealed bottle of Glenmorangie which a buddy brought from from Scotland last night sitting on my desk saying drink me.

Am about to blanch some green beans and freeze them, after that I have to water all my house plants, then it will be time for the wino to pour a glass of wine. and set down to watch the Dodgers win another ball game.
Had a friend over for a late lunch/early dinner of pizza & cheesy bread -- I decided to make peach margaritas.
Actually, peach-strawberry-mango margaritas.
Took about 2 minutes ... 8 oz. 1800 peach margarita (one of their flavors -- already has tequila in it), 8 oz. strawberry mixer, 4 additional ounces tequila, 3 fresh mango slices, 1/2 nectarine (left the skin on), about a dozen ice cubes all blended together for about a minute. Turned out slushy but not frozen ... and absolutely delicious. YUM!!
Martinis are fun. If you're serving martinis, I want to be invited. I season the glass with a shot of scotch.
