I have no problem with religion, per se, but isn't putting a church inside of a public High School a bit... provocative?
How so?
Many churches rent space/meet at public schools all over the city. Sagebrush actually started out at Petroglyph Elementary and moved on to LBJ Middle School before taking up residence at the current location on Coors. As _yb has mentioned, we currently have an existing campus that recently moved to Rio Rancho HS.
On a side note, one of the newly elected City Councilors is the Pastor of a church that meets at Cibola HS.
I understand, the church uses the space when classes are out of session. I thought it was something else going on. I was picturing congregation members proselytizing between classes or something.
I recomend Montgomery Church of Christ. It's in the Northeast Heights area.Me and my fellow brothers and sisters in the Churches of Christ know that the Church of Christ is non-denominational.One of the reasons why we know this is because each Church of Christ is autonomous and has no higher unit of man-made governence on Earth.

No, they used to meet at Cibola but moved back to their old Rio Rancho location in a strip mall last summer. Either way, many churches meet in school buildings on Sundays. It's a win-win situation for the church (low rent) and for the schools who can pick up some extra money when the building would otherwise be empty, as well as provide a community service.
Perhaps if you could describe your theological background a bit more in detail. We could all offer some better advice.
Just exactly why do you prefer a "non-denom" church in the first place?
