Red Jacket may be on to something. I just heard a whole sled team was found huddled in the back of an 18-wheeler driven by one of the "Ice Road Truckers" from the cable show. Worse yet, they were drinking brandy from a keg they mooched off a St. Bernard they met while hitching the ride.

Don't think so. I put them through a vetting process that would make the president's look like a walk in the park.

The names of my two main reliable sources are Oclet & Luther Henning. Brothers from Kerosene County in northern WI. They used to work for the United States Department of Iditarod Justice. (USDIJ)

Their motto is We Spy 'em & You Fry 'em. I have complete faith in their abilities as top notch double-naught spies.

Thankfully the dogs were healthy all the way, and carried the teram home to Nome...mid pack, IIRC.

So, what about Lance? He pulled out of the Quest, so did he learn something which will make im stronger in Iditarod?

Or maybe one of the oldfer timers...Jeff King or Martin Buser? Swenson withdrew......

For some reason i like experience this year...no lucky dogs....Rohn Buser has withdrawn.....he is a young gun who could take it all some day. But for this year, i think experiecne in the dogs, and the driver, will take the team under the Arch first.

Pick: Mitch Seavey
Wakes up to a smile this morning.....

Just a tremnedous event...and i don't think he got a ride from anyone in those last 77 miles!

The photo was taken about half way down Corral Hill. It is a fairly steep hill with several tight turns that is about 30-45 minutes from the Willow restart.

She was slowing her team down to make a turn.
