Went for a nice hike with the dogs today.
This at about 4000 ft near the old Talkeetna Mine and Fern Mine. These are past the end of Archangle Rd. that branches off near Hatcher Pass.

It was raining quite hard yesterday (and windy), as you can see by the color of the water, but I managed to take quite a lot of photos whenever I saw an opening in the clouds. Also, had to take my camera inside the car to pat it dry with a towel, and to remove the countless water droplets showing on the photos

Warpt, I that really a Snipe?
We use to say "lets go Snipe hunting", and get the guy lost because there wasn't anything as a Snipe. I could be very wrong though. Nice shots!

Nice photos Ray. The rivers down here are running strong right now also, with the bit of rain we've had. The Matanuska was swollen bit time today, and the Little Su has been running real strong.

Well, they're actually sand pipers.

Dogs are out today...

If the dogs are out, you have rain on it's way.

Sandpipers eh.
