Yes, I shot that RAW, but it need very little post. I was actually surprised it came out as sharp as it did since he only comes out when the light is starting to fade, and I was in a hurry and just grabbed the camera with the 100-400 and started shooting.

Yesterday at the lake. Getting some photo's of a buddies boat he spent all winter rebuilding. Man it was a nice day.

Takin a hotdog break at Dorshin Bay

Hauled up like walrus' on picnic beach. Had to be 75 or 80 degrees.

One last look at the lake about 5:00 PM. Yeah...Alaska is all that.

Great looking day and trip, I like the "MOOSE WHISPER" lights on the guys boat. They must slow him down about six knots when he turns them on from the recoil...

He spends a majority of his time on the Kenai River. So he's trying out the lights for night time and fog conditions. That boat has DVD, stereo, 2 bench seats that fold down into a queen size bed, propane heat, remote control spot light, plus GPS and all the fixins.
Most of the electronics he got through donations, including the canvas topper, claiming he will be a river rescue type boat. He scored. The boat had been swamped in Cook Inlet and he picked it up for a couple grand. Put a new outboard on it and wham...just like new.
