Health care workers aren't afraid of getting it. Another thing most of them say is many of their coworkers that have received the vaccine got just as sick or almost as sick for a few days just like people that actually caught Covid 19. Finally, many of the front line health care workers have already had Covid 19, have immunity better than the vaccine provides and so there is no reason for them to receive the vaccine. That does is better off going to someone who actually needs it.
In other words, they are in the inside of all of this and see the REALITY of the virus; versus the over-the-top fear mongering of the mainstream media that is being pushed on us. If there were really hordes of people on ventilators, bodies stacking up in the morgue, and people dropping like flies from this virus, as we're repeatedly told, the health care workers would be lining up for their vaccinations without question. And some of them will, without question, because they are compliant people. But some will not, because they don't see a need to put something into their bodies without further thought and deliberation. Good for them.

What is Maw-Maw doing besides getting her second shot? Florida has now listed Publix's as locations to get the shots now.

It isn't like it is just Alabama. It has been much slower throughout the country than expected. Rural and less populated areas are also always slow on these sorts of things for various reasons. It isn't just the U.S. either. Most European countries have been having trouble rolling the vaccinations out. It was expected to be bumpy because there are so many pieces to the puzzle that have to be put in place. It will take a another month or two but it will at some point start moving quicker.

That's a lot of runny noses. I hope they have enough Kleenex.

This is true, there a a FEW places worse than Alabama who has only administered 23.42% of the doses given since December 20th.
Because there are a small handful of places worse than us, to me that does not give our state a pass.

A slow vax rollout may end up being a blessing, considering all the people that have ended up in the ER or dying shortly after receiving it.

You must be an "Anti Vac" person, over 30 million does have been given world wide. Sounds pretty safe to me!
Obviously you will not be taking one, that is good and certainly your right! That just means one more for those of us that want it.
