Just to clarify the changes in reputation limits, is the total number of points 15, or the number of times one gives reputation 15. Inasmuch as some members are allotted one point, and others much higher numbers, I am just a bit confused as I just got a message, "you've given out too much reputation in the last 24 hours, try again later." I didn't think I had given many reps in the last 24 hours.
The limits have now been tightened from 50 and 8 to 15 and 20.
Wow, that is a huge reduction going from 50 to only being able to give out 15 rep points in 24 hours. I am already beyond my limit. Oh well, I guess I will have to be more selective who I give rep points to!

Good move. While I appreciate reputation points as much as anyone, the idea of strewing them around willy-nilly to almost anyone in order to give them to someone who deserves them lessens the value of them for everyone.
WOW!? I'm confused also as I just got the same message
If the amount we can give out is down to 15 and we can give out 4 points each time, does that mean we can only give out to 3 people (i.e. 3 x 4 = 12)? Versus someone who can only give out 1 point who would be able to give out to 15 people???
Very confusing ! Sorry if this makes sense to the rest of you folks .
So, you can give rep points to 15 people in 24 hours, but you have to give rep points to 20 other people before you can give a person rep points again?
