For the past few weeks, I have been experiencing enormous trouble loading CD pages, quotes for responses, submitting responses, most particularly late morning until 4 or 5 in the afternoon. Extremely annoying and frustrating when participating in lengthy and lively discussions.

Other websites function normally. I am able to access and navigate NYT, my banking website, Amazon, eBay, and many others, without a problem.

I've reset my internet router, cleared cookies and temp files, tried changing DNS three times to three different servers - TWC, Google, OpenDNS - and experience problems on all three. Right now I'm back to Google, after trying OpenDNS for a while.

I am in the Midwest not far from Chicago. Is the fact that CD is based in Chicago a factor because I'm in WI??? In other words, are we competing for the same resources?

I do notice after 5 and later in the evening, usually, things have improved considerably.

Thanks.

Yep, that's about when it started in earnest - before Christmas. Drives me bats, frankly.

I came here looking for posts about slow servers. Ditto here, seems to delay loading pages quite a bit. Need a server upgrade perhaps.

Had to wait til this evening to even get to this Forum to see if others were having trouble yesterday and today. Seems to be time sensitive, slooow during the day, OK at night. Oh well, it is free
