Many times i find the CD forum very slow to load a page, eg; click on a section and it could take 30-45 seconds before the page appears or sometimes actually time out, when this is happening any desired action faces the same delay.
I was thinking its my pc but when i'm having a slow load episode on cd it doesnt seem to be happening on any of the other forums i frequent.
Any idea whats happening or if there is anything i can do about it?
Thanks

It was completely down for me for a few hours last night. Seems OK now. It happens with high-usage sites.

For me, CD pages and forum would not load at all for few hours Tues. night.
Checked Is City-data.com Down Now or City-Data Website not Working Just For Me?
which did a ping test & reported the site was down.
Seems from approx. just before 9 p.m.-sometime shortly before midnight (ET) ?

It seems we're indeed having some issues but our IT staff is aware and working on solving this as soon as possible.
Yac.

We had some downtime early today and the site was likely slow to load soon after it came back up.

I have had the same issue for 3 days now and it is getting annoying but it is also a good thing because I have been getting more done around the house as far as chores go instead of sitting here all day on CD....LOL

I've noticed that it's very slow at certain times of day. For me, the hours between 11AM and 1PM are typically excruciating.
