Ive noticed that messages are deleted in two ways on this forum.
-The message are just gone.
-The message is gone, with a notification: This message is deleted by(moderator name) an sometimes reason ex. off topic.
When the moderator name is included everybody can also see the member name of the poster which message has been deleted. Is this done to achieve a more severe punishment for the poster and has the post been reported.

Deleted posts are only visible to the person who originally made them or to a moderator. Other members canNOT see them.
And that's why you might see a post of yours deleted as "orphaned" since the original post you replied to was deleted. You can't see the one ahead of yours to know it was deleted, just your own orphaned post.
