Spoke with CFM regarding the following: 1) Employee health, food safety and general sanitation practices 2) Store cup lids in a protective sleeve or in a lid holder 3) Provide ambient air thermometers in all refrigeration units that do not have an integral thermometers. Health department permit issued to CFM.
Jewelry - Prohibition (corrected on site) Observation: Employee wearing wrist bands on the arms and hands while preparing food.
Correction: Ensure employees are not wearing jewelry on their arms and hands while preparing food. This section does not apply to a plain ring such as a wedding band.
Temperature Measuring Devices (corrected on site) Observation: The temperature measuring device in some reach in refrigerators was not properly located in the warmest part of the unit.
Correction: Relocate the temperature measuring device to the warmest part of the refrigeration unit to properly represent the ambient air temperature.
Good Repair and Calibration of Thermometers (corrected on site) Observation: Observed food thermometer is not calibrated to ensure accuracy.
Correction: Calibrate food thermometer according to manufacturer's specification as necessary to ensure accuracy.
