This visit was made to conduct a routine food safety evaluation. The Person in Charge was very helpful during the visit. The following issues require attention: 1. Please ensure that raw eggs are stored below any ready to eat food products to prevent any risk of cross contamination 2. This visit was made to conduct a routine food safety evaluation. The following item requires attention: 1. The entrances leading to the grocery store from the garage are not approved for the storage of food items. Finished surface materials for the floors, walls, and ceilings do not meet the current 2013 Food Code as being constructed of non-absorbent, smooth, durable, and easily cleanable. Currently the flooring is carpet, wall has a flat finished surface, and ceiling tiles are porous. Discontinue the display of produce items at these entry ways. Entry ways were not approved for the storage/display of food items during the pre-opening inspection conducted on November 18, 2015. Note: Produce department is very well maintained and operated. Manager at time of evaluation was extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

This visit was made to conduct a pre-opening evaluation. The following items shall be corrected prior to opening: 1. Pitted floor surrounding floor sink under prep sink and curbing in the produce walk-in cooler shall be repaired to provide a smooth, non-absorbent, and easily cleanable surface. This visit was made to conduct a construction visit. The following items require correction: -seal/caulk junctures through out grocery store to include prep tables -replace burnt out light fixtures -replace missing ceiling tiles -finish surfaces for floors, walls, and ceilings shall be non-absorbent, smooth, and easily cleanable -make sure all cold holding equipment is operating at 41 degrees F or less Starbucks -replace ceiling tiles to provide non-absorbent smooth and easily cleanable surfaces -make sure air gap is provided for 3-compartment sink, ice machine, and prep sink -properly install espresso machine to provide a backflow preventer -repair damaged flooring near floor sink -seal/caulk junctures through out department -finish surfaces for floors, walls, and ceilings shall be non-absorbent, smooth, and easily cleanble No violation noted during this evaluation. | 10/30/2014 | Pre-Opening |
