| Post opening inspection. Person in charge knowledgeable about food safety and answered questions correctly regarding cook temperatures, cold holding, hot holding, and employee health. Proper date marking of ready to eat foods. Very clean and organized kitchen. Three compartment sink setup sanitizing properly but concentration is a little high, recommend lowering concentration a bit. Temperature logs are also being kept 5 times a day and temperatures look excellent. Excellent hot holding, cold holding, and cooking temperatures during todays inspection. Ensure that all paper towel dispensers are working and stress handwashing. Proper backflow for mop sink is needed . Keep up the great work! Person in charge is ServSafe Certified.

Establishment appears to meet food regulations only a few backflow issues with coffee stations and mop sink. Equipment is not yet turned on. Will follow up after fire and plumbing inspections. Provided Owner with ServSafe information. Only one food soruce provider Reinhart food service. Will have 2 servsafe certified individuals on staff. So we got biscuits from Popeyes the other night. After we got home and was eating noticed they was discolored. So I took them back today to get a refund. The manager at the Harrisonburg store first off is a piece of work. Before I could even voice my concern was very rude. Once I showed her the biscuits she was like oh that’s just butter. I told her ok but I’m still not eating them and would like a refund. She refused and asked me to leave the store.
Would you recommend Popeye's Harrisonburg to others? No
