Texas & Mexican flags are by far the most common here in the Lone Star State.

In certain diverse Texas cities such as Houston & Dallas you will see other countries flags such as the Vietnamese flag, Filipino flag, & Latin countries flags quite a bit, especially hanging from rear view mirrors & plastered all over the back windows & bumpers of their vehicles.

We're not flag wavers in the Pacific Northwest. You don't see very many flags here. On public buildings you'll see U.S. and Oregon flags, and motels often will also have Canadian flags.

After those, the most common flags are prayer flags. Then maybe rainbow peace flags.

Isn't the rainbow flag actually a gay flag? Those are commonly flown in areas like West Hollywood.

I see the Swedish flag flying in a few places when I go through Madison, MS; it has a sister city relationship with a town named Solleftea.

The rainbow flag alone is a gay pride flag, yes. It has 6 colors with the red on top, while the peace flag has red on the bottom and has 7 colors.

The symbolism of the rainbow is diversity, inclusiveness, and hope. It goes back to the rainbow that the biblical God sent to Noah.

Mostly the Jamaican flag (the only one I recognize) as well as a plethora of other island flags, they're about as common as the American flag.
