City flag of Seattle is so oceanic! Very true to the city's heritage:

Do they not have a flag hanging at Boston's city hall?

I just googled images of 'Boston City Hall', and apparently they do!

I was just over there too. Next time I need to look up I guess.

The flag of DC, which is where I grew up for about half of my childhood and where my parents live today. Fun fact: it and the Maryland flag are the only state (I know DC isn't technically a state) flags based on English heraldry:

The flag of College Park, Maryland, where I currently live:

The yellow and black are a nod to the coat of arms of the Calvert family. The seal is, well, the seal. I'm not sure what the gears are supposed to represent, but the chapel is the University of Maryland's Memorial Chapel, the airport is for the College Park Airport, and the lamp with a book are supposed to represent knowledge.

I'll second that. The Philly flag is not particularly common. Is the Philly flag based on the Swedish flag?

DC, by comparison, flies its flag a lot. I think this must have something to do with the lack of representation or something.
