Ohio stays winning when it comes to markets. We got the Westside market, Jungle Jims, and North Market. Compared to other states, Ohio just knows how to provide proper nourishment for it's great citizens. As the old saying goes..... "If you can't find it in Ohio, you don't belong in a kitchen."

Nah... It was in 1987... long, long before that movie came out.

Could not agree more!

There are also some newer, healthy markets in NE OH - not only Whole Foods. The Mustard Seed has several locations and we like that so much! It also has the option of of dining in.

Ohio's ethnic diversity leaves no one hungry or board. Unlike the Sunny, warm south, we aren't limited to deep fried foods, super sweet deserts, chain restaurants, barbecue, and Mexican food - although all of that is available. The south, including TX are pretty limited when it comes to food.

FL is a bit more diverse, but that's largely due to transplants.

Hawaii is paradise but spam and canned pineapple and that white library paste stuff in NOT paradise. Good sea food, though.

You might also say "If you can't find it in Ohio, you might reconsider whether or not you want to eat that".

We also moved to Cleveland from Seattle 6 years ago, stayed in Cleveland for few years. There is no comparison between Seattle and Cleveland. If you like it there, good for you, but we moved back to Seattle for many personal reasons. The moment we crossed the Snoqualmie pass entering I-405, there was not words described our feelings. I shredded some tears of happiness. We are happy in Seattle and moving no more.

Findlay Market is awesome. The Victorian shops and buildings surrounding it are pretty cool, too. All very colorful and lively looking, even though it was kinda dead when I visited on a Friday afternoon at the end of a business trip to N. Ky, but I understand the area hops on Saturdays, which makes sense.
