Which cars "stand out" on the road-in your opinion
Most cars look alike, but there are certain models that just look different (in a good way) that I always notice on the road.
The top 3 that stand out in my opinion are the new Civics, Acura TL and newer MDX as well as the Infiniti fx35, both current and previous generation.
I don't include cars like small convertibles or oversize vehicles for obvious reasons, I'm talking about design wise and uniqueness

What Japanese car do YOU drive?? I'm guessing an older civic.
I like to think I know about most cars.
Older well kept sports cars (enthusiast cars), vehicles that have clearly had a lot of GOOD custom work, and special models comes to mind.
You re missing the point of my question. I was asking which cars currently on the road stand out because of their design. Custom cars, special models and colors or cars with a mattress on the roof rack don't count
I don't drive a civic, though i do like the new onez
The ones I can determine at a glance; Challenger, Charger, Mustang, Camaro, most trucks foreign or domestic. Japanese cars don't interest me, BMW/Mercs are usually pretty obvious, as is Porsche. I may have missed one or two.
It almost doesn't matter to me, don't get mad at me ...as long as it isn't silver!
All parking lots seem to be a sea of silver cars, I didn't know that til I got one...
all the new cars are pretty to me, tho.
Spark because it looks alien (and because my daughter has one, I know it is not her but I look anyway).
Pretty much any British car.
Ford GT.
I always like to see Fusions. I think they are one of the best looking cars made, even though they are very common.
Tesla.
That Chevy Corvette truck thing. - Actually anything that looks really stupid or amazingly ugly. (Juke, Aztec, that nissan box thing, )
Jeep Wranglers.
Of course exotics stand out. As do antique and many vintage cars.
I notice WRX usually because they interest me. I always look to see if the driver is over 20.
Challenger, Charger, Mustang, Camaro, Corvette.
I do not notice most dull Fords, Chevys, Honda, Toyota, Kia, BMW, Audi, Hyundai - some of them are not bad looking, but they do not stand out. Sometimes I will give a bland chevy sedan a second look to see if it might be an SS.
Actually, I have to say I am aware of BMW and Audis near me on the freeway, because I always expect them to do something selfish and stupid. Not a fair prejudice I know, but just personal experience created a bias I think.
Caddy CTS is not particularly interesting looking, but I check to see if it might be a V.

I agree, there are very few Japanese cars that stand out, and they are the ugly ones like Juke, Prius, Cube and Element. I'll add the Audi R8 as one foreign model that stands out in a good way.
