4-602.13 Clean non food contact surfaces as often as necessary to prevent accumulation of residue- Clean gasket on reach-in cooler doors to remove mildew build-up.

Heating element for 3-compartment sink not working. Single service articles being used. Dish machine is working properly. Discussed using sanitizer for 3-compartment sink.

3-305.11 Store food at least 6 inches above the floor- Bag of onions on floor in kitchen// 3-302.15 Wash raw fruits and vegetables thoroughly to remove soil and other contaminants- Pears on shelf need to be washed or dispose of them as needed.
4-602.13 Clean non food contact surfaces as often as necessary to prevent accumulation of residue- Clean gaskets on reach-in cooler; Clean lids to containers; Clean bottom of reach-in coolers and freezers.
6-501.112 Remove dead or trapped birds, insects, rodents and other pests from control devices and premises at a frequency that prevents accumulation, decomposition, or the attraction of pests- Clean behind chest freezer to remove dead roaches and rodent droppings.

Discussed setting up appointment time for walk-thru of facility regarding new childcare regulations. Will contact supervisor of establishment to set-up a time.

6-501.11 Repair or replace damaged baseboards in dry storage closet// 6-101.11 Provide smooth, durable, nonabsorbent, easily cleanable floors, walls, and ceilings- Paint/seal walls in storage areas where cinder blocks are exposed.

Kitchen not in operation at time of inspection. Cleaning for summer break taking place at time of inspection. All remaining food in kitchen will be picked up before summer break. Discussed scheduling facility walk-thru with school director, Ms. Morris, after timing out of inspection. Walk-thru to take place sometime in June. Ms. Morris will call with exact date.
