Description: The El Paso Generals are a professional indoor football team that plays as part of the Indoor Football League. This pro league was created in 2008 out of the merger between the Intense Football League and United Indoor Football. The El Paso Generals play all of their home games at the El Paso County Coliseum. Player tryouts are held in January of each year, and the Generals’ season runs from Apr through Jul.

Description: This semi-pro and collegiate level rugby team has been playing in El Paso since the mid-1970s, and since 1979, have won 12 Rio Grande Union Championships and sent multiple players to All Star teams. The El Paso Scorpions are a 1st division team of the United States Rugby Union. The Scorpions organization also oversees the administration of rugby athletic programs across several El Paso high schools, with a few of these teams becoming quite competitive.

Description: The El Paso Patriots are a professional United Soccer Premier Development League team that plays in the Mid-South Division of the Southern Conference. Founded in 1989, they were the Open Cup Runners-Up in 1995, won the Mid-South Division title in 2004, and in 2005 took home the Southern Conference Championship. The Patriots’ season runs all summer, from Apr through Labor Day. Home games, which usually begin at 8 p.m., are played at the small 3,000-seat Patriot Stadium, located just off of I-10 in East El Paso near the Cielo Vista Mall.
