Description: Three Happiness is a great little Chinese place in the heart of midtown. The dining room is clean and simple and service is fast and friendly. It’s a hugely popular neighborhood take-out place, and for good reason: The food is great. Americanized Chinese is the name of the game here. Each order comes with the diner’s choice of soup and an egg roll or crab Rangoon. Portion sizes are large enough to easily share. Some of the menu items that garner rave reviews include the hot and sour soup, the General’s Chicken, the Yum Yum Chicken, the twice baked pork, and the peanut butter chicken, which comes in a huge portion. (Vegetarians will also appreciate the option to get peanut butter tofu, which is rich and delicious when mixed with rice.) Three Happiness is a solid choice for well-priced Chinese food to stay or go.
