Description: Barker Reservoir in Nederland attracts many anglers at its western end, where Boulder Creek empties into this scenic reservoir on the east side of Nederland. Anglers can catch some of the stocked rainbow trout, about a foot long. The water level fluctuates quite a bit, depending on the season and downstream water needs. No boats of any kind are allowed on this reservoir, which is owned by the Public Service Company of Colorado and supplies some of the drinking and irrigation water to towns below.
