A ladybug sits on
the center of my window
paining to get in

Autumn leaves falling.
Rust becoming green in Spring.
You'll always be gone.

Her ancient mailbox
Sun and night, life passed, yet still
Awaits his message

A solitude of last
The leaf gently falls from home
leaving the tree with a solitude of gone.

(not really a haiku but I liked it this way)

There are various forms of haiku. The form is more about ... OK, going to step back here... explore the forms and intent. It is much more fun than my suggesting anything.

Playing with this last -

Tall tree sighs, then bows
leaves, leave, leaving; now all fall
close. new feed. next growth

There are other ways it could come together, but place, action, resolution.

I think your is a bot more optimistic than mine.

I've read a lot of haiku ( a lot compared to most people I think.) You're right tho'. I should explore the different forms. The forest rather than the trees.
