Great shots! I'm hesitant to go see the tulips this year because of the crowds. I've seen them several times before, so it's not the end of the world, but they really are impressive in person.

Oh, man, those are wonderful, Gardyloo! And to think, we lived right there in little 'ole Burlington. If it wasn't for the loony Boeing layoff wand we'd still be there and be able to enjoy the gorgeous western Washington landscapes.

Fantastic!

After a multi-month break I'm trying to start commuting by bicycle a little more (before I had a car that was my only transportation). Today was amazing for it! The first three are from this morning, the last two from this afternoon.

Did an overnight camping trip at Baker River and Sulphide Creek. It was beautiful!

Thanks! And yes, the fourth one and the last two are Baker River. The first three are from a spot at a creek along the way, and the rest are from Sulphide Creek. It was incredibly beautiful. And despite one somewhat difficult water crossing, it was a pretty easy hike.

After a drive to the tulip fields yesterday (and spending an embarrassing amount of time in standstill traffic), I understand your hesitation. I'd recommend parking in Mt. Vernon and riding your bike. Heck, walking in from Mt. Vernon would have been faster!

BTW, great shots!

Thanks! The first time I ever went to see the Tulips, I biked there from Bellingham. It was really, really nice not to have to even consider parking fees. But I hurt my ankle and had to take the bus back. Parking in Mt Vernon and biking the rest of the way is a good idea!
