Great shots of my favorite places in Washington state - Skagit Valley. Isn't that kind of early for the daffodils ta be blooming? And I love that red bridge in LaConner - we always enjoyed going there and walking around the area.

Thanks! The daffodils may be a little early, but last year I made a similar trip in early March and they were blooming. But last year was also unusually warm, sunny, and dry. Hope that isn't the case this year!

I was going through the wayback machine and found a couple of old snaps from around 1971 that I scanned, then compared them to more recent pictures from more or less the same viewpoint. Interesting.

We had some high winds on Thursday and the water in the bay was intense. I took a picture (the first one), but it doesn't do the scene justice. Yesterday I noticed a sunken sailboat at Cornwall Beach.
