Harry and the Hendersons.

When I watch these movies it makes me want to move to Seattle. Then I get a reality check and realize those movies were filmed in the 2 months of summer Seattle gets and the other 10 months are gloomy and dark

Wasn't there a movie made in the 60's starring Sidney Poitier and Anne Bancroft filmed in Seattle? Poitier played a sucide crisis hotline operator trying to keep Bancroft alive as she took some pills until the cops found her. I think they even showed Sea-Tac airport.

Die Hard 2 was filmed at the Moses Lake Airport.

I remember that because someone called the Spokane news stations and told them Bruce Willis was going to be at the Spokane airport. They all sent crews out there only to find out it was a hoax.

Don't forget War Games either.

In 1988-89 "Always" with John Goodmann was filmed in Eastern WA. They came to Lind (on 395 sw of Ritzville) and remodeled Slim's Tavern for the movie. Also did a lot of filming in the Ephrata area as well (as I remember, I was 12!)

Someone mentioned Free Willey. But Free Willey 2 was also filmed.
I worked on the movie in the San Juans.
Free Willey had a million dollar budget give or take. The second movie and a 60 million budget.
The third was filmed mostly in BC....and ended the series.
Maverick was filmed by the same film crew.....we, The Willey crew, got to watch the director cut before Maverick hit the big screen.

Maverick was filmed on the Columbia..so technically I'm half right.
