Conejo Valley view looking west, 1930s. Moorpark road runs left and right. The road running east and west (perpendicular to Moorpark road) is probably Ventura Boulevard, later renamed Thousand Oaks Boulevard. The airstrip is the first Janss Ranch Airport (Conejo Valley Airport).
Later in 1952, Highway was constructed over it and the airport was moved a little south. In this photo, you can see the new highway, intersected by Moorpark Road, and to the far left, the new airstrip.

I am thinking it is the old Oxnard Masonic Cemetary at Erring and Pleasant Valley Road. Near the South end of Oxnard are two Cemetaries near each other. One is the Oxnard Masonic Cemetary and the other is the Japanese Cemetary. In the Japanese Cemetary if I remember correctly all the markers are in Japanese. With your picture it shows a name of Green listed on one of the markers or tomb stones. I checked the listing of those buried in the Oxnard Masonic Cemetary and a Green was burried there. No information was listed for that person. This is a small cemetary with 37 markers visible. Those that are there died between 1898 and 1959. Both cemetery's are located at Erring Road and Pleasant Valley. I remember when I was living in Port Hueneme, I would drive past them both on my way to the Coast Highway or when I wanted to drive to Camarillo.
