Garage tour Northern Clark County. (Sorry, Google maps creation is not working well during flight)

If traveling to visit SWWA with auto interests... follow the events here:
https://www.pdxcarculture.com/Events These folks have nice garages and might invite you to come see them.
Weds nights in the summer @ "Beaches (restaurant) sponsored event" at PIR
Plenty to do here. https://www.facebook.com/woodburndragstrip/

Friday Night Alderbrook Park - nice tour to get there seeing plenty of North Clark County and garages / shop ideas...(50+);

@3-4PM on Friday... leave Northbound on 72nd ave at SR 500 (Padden) Costco / Home Depot.
head North past Daybreak park to Farger Lake, then to Lucia Falls, and south to Battleground Lake
Then find a quick route to Alderbrook Park (nearby)
Return to Camas Via NE 212av to Lacamas Lake area

Garage Design (including engineering and materials break out) - Sketchup. (additional Modules available) https://www.sketchup.com/
Free versions for those with internet access. ($299 stand alone)

I really prefer to build tilt-up concrete, but also build freespan steel. https://wsbnw.com/ is a popular PNW supplier for homeowner sized structures.

June = Rose Fest, a worthwhile line up of events, but fewer garages, you can stop by http://www.memorylaneclassiccars.com/ while in the neighborhood.

Many nice rural garages and scenery looping through SE Portland... Estacata - Damacus - Boring - Sandy - Corbett - Troutdale, swing into Edgefield's for gardens and events when back to Troutdale.

PIR
https://portlandraceway.com/

Beaches sponsored events from last year
https://portlandraceway.com/?/events...vents/cruisein

There is a rural SCCA road track near Morrow, OR if you seek weather like some of the CoC pics posted on C-D Vancouver.

Garages near there are for storing dryland farm equipment. They are impressive, as is harvest season. ~10 -31 July.

Very interesting! I wasn't aware Portland even had a raceway!
It is fairly close to Vancouver, too. I am not really into car races but I might be tempted to see a drag race.
I will have to check the dates for a suitable event.

It seems, between The Couv and Portland, there are a lot of activities and events of various types!

Thanks SR!
