I went for paddle later in the afternoon today and caught some nice alpen glow on Mt. Hood from the Columbia River. The river was super calm and glassy which is nice for winter paddling. Here's a few pics from the paddle.

We had a vibrant winter sunset tonight I watched while finishing up work. I can only imagine how beautiful the reflection looked on the Columbia and local lakes tonight.

Here are some pics from my after work paddle. I had fun watching eagles fish and enjoyed seeing a beaver swim by along with some swans and a bunch of other cool birds I don't know the names of.

Here are some photos from the coast. It's ~ 2 hours to the coast from Vancouver. That includes some beautiful beaches such as Cannon Beach, Ecola SP, Hug Point, Oswald West SP, Rockaway Beach, Lincoln City, etc...

We visited Hug Point today and it was awesome. Here's a few more from this weekend. The first two are Hug Point this morning.

We had a good mixture rain and sun today followed by beautiful clouds and a colorful sunset. I'm glad we finally got some rain with these warmer spring-like conditions.

I went for a hike up Hamilton Mtn. today. It was beautiful out: sunny, mid 50s and very clear. Overall, it was a perfect winter day in WA.

Weather.com lied. It forecasted cloudy and rainy this morning. So, I slept in and then awoke to sun bursting through our windows! So, I bolted down to the lake and it was a glorious morning out there with beautiful clouds and no one on the water.
