They probably didn't respond as they want to keep it small. If the brag about it they get more people moving in.

I grew up in Harriman lived there 19 yrs got married moved about 45 miles away to another small town Dayton Tn better known as monkey town for the scopes trial even though where i live now is alot like Harriman there is just something i miss about that town my family is still there and i plan to move back there one day it is a very handy location its small enough for that country feel but close enough to Knox. and even Nash.for your more extravagant needs. If you are looking for a retirement location i have noticed (working in the health care field) that Dayton is a very popular place for retirees
