I know right. When we came out of the trail and I realized that we were on the OTHER end of the park and had to walk atleast 2 miles (and that's cutting corners) to get back to the car I was ready to pay someone to drive us to the car.

Thumbs up Ok everybody in East TN I need a little prayer

I need all the help I can get.
I was glad that it won't be too cold but now they say rain Tuesday night and I hope they are right.
I thought maybe if everyone says a little prayer that it doesn't rain tommorrow until after 6:00pm maybe it would work. My granddaughter is so excited about starting her horse back riding lessons, that is all I have heard about. If it rains she is going to be so upset. We couldn't do it last week, couldn't do it Saturday, so now we are setup for Tuesday afternoon.

Thanks everyone and have a great week.

I will say a prayer because I can just imagine your gdaughters excitement. I have always loved horses although I wasnt able to get my own until I was in my 20's.

Tell your gdaughter that real cowgirls ride in the rain.

Thanks that's a good idea.
We haven't decided if she is going to get a horse yet. If so that will be down the road a bit. I want her to learn everything about how to take care of a horse and how to ride safe and be a very good rider too. She has to understand that having a horse is not all fun and games, they are a lot of work too.
And she will have to keep her grade up at school.

You've got to get the girl a horse! I wanted one soooo bad when I was a girl, but we lived in the city. Even when we moved to TN out in the country I couldnt have one. I was in my late 20's when I finally got my first horse. Now at my age its not as easy gettin up in that saddle, I worry about injuries and I get pretty sore after a long trail ride.
All those years I could have been riding when I was younger.

You are right it is a lot of work and expense, but its worth it.

I was thankful for the beautiful weekend. I have had a goat up for a week in anticipation of her delivery not wanting the baby to be born out in the cold and snow. I let her out Sunday to soak in some sunshine and she delivered twins.
