NTE has stated they have no ARCHIVAL copies of test scores prior to the late 1990s / 2000. The only copies will be the ones you have saved or set aside in portfolios or previous employment files.

The address listed on my NTE from 1990 is;

NTE Programs
Educational Testing Service
P.O. Box 6052
Princeton, NJ 08541-6052

I think this is the same service that administers the SAT, ACT and AP exams. At least you're not trying to track down your SAT scores from 1980. Good luck!

This is because with NCLB you can no longer have emergency certificates anywhere in the country. Also, and I think I can speak for every educator in the country...an emergency certification for 10 years??? What is that about?? Get the real thing. What are you waiting for.

I completed my degree in Health and Physical Education and took the National Teacher Exams back in 1999 and never received my results and teaching certificate. I currently work at a university coaching football, but I have been asked to teach back home at a Jr. High. Can anyone help me locate results from these scores? I need to act fast. Thank you!

Start with your school's credential office or school of education.

They mixed me up in the change and never wanted to acknowledge that they had make a mistake. I did get someone there to admit that I should have been issued a certificate because I had meet all requirements before the change occured, but still for years they have refused to grant me a certificate. I need some advice, assistance, or someone that can help me, maybe even a legal assistance. This has gone on much too long since 1983.
You can start working on the new requirements. I don't understand why they won't issue a permanent certificate if someone already admitted that there was a mistake on their part.

Question Ms. P.

Did anyone ever find out a way to get their NTE scores, it seems almost impossible that they are not archived somewhere. I would pay whatever it costs, I took my test in 1991. HELP, I'm desperate.

I was able to get mine from my credential file at my university. NTE has stated they have NO archives prior to 1996 or there abouts.
