No idea who that is. The fair is a fun thing to do if nothing else is going on. Only so many cows and butter sculptures you can take in. The rest is just food venders. A real cash cow for the state. No wonder they wanted to open this year.
I think it depends on where you are from as well. Most people come to the Fair for the food and concerts, some for the rides/Midway and some for the farm animals. Traffic can be quite bad on I-690 during that time as well.
Nas is an award winning hip-hop artist originally from Queens, by the way.

.
I've never had a problem on I 690. In fact anytime I use that corridor all I can think is why are there 3 lanes, when 2 seem more than adequate? Maybe certain times, or during staging with all the vendors coming or going all at once would cause problems.
I'm wondering how much notice did the venders have, whether there would even be a SF this year? Any idea what the protocol is for masks, credentials, etc?

If you are going to the Fair from Syracuse, meaning westbound, the highway can get backed up quite a bit.
I gotta believe people just wanna get out this year and its gonna be packed.
Last time I went , which was either 2 or 3 years ago it turned out to be a record breaking day but honestly traffic, parking and crowds were all non-issues.
If it hits 200k or something well that might be a problem. And it just may.
I can see the food peoples problem with getting extra help. I know of places in this area that are on reduced hours due to lack of help and even when they are open they don't have enough staff. So running a fair booth for places near Syracuse would be a huge problem. Which is sad but its what people wanted.
What if 200K show up and they don't have enough food and it turnss into a huge riot?? Jeepers maybe I will stay home.

I think the concerts are going to be bigger draws this year due to some vendors not coming back. Some of it in terms of vendors not coming back is just due to some just hanging it up. So, I’m curious if there will be some new vendors stepping in.
^Yeah, I think if new vendors just have something good and can appeal to a wide range of people, they’ll do fine.
