....In order for the State fair to happen this year, I wonder what their happen/not happen date is for the fair this year? I have been to state fairs in a number of states in my life.....NY puts on a fair that is pretty darn good.
Definitely an indicator of the “end of summer” and school getting back into session. It will be nice to see the traffic that it creates, as well as the food and events that take place there.

I do hope our "talented" state officials realize that social distancing (base on my many atttendances at the fair) just isin't going to work given the crowds, layout of the insides of all the buildings..
^Yes, I am curious as to how they are going to pull this off. I’m thinking that maybe a lot of concerts will be moved to the Lakeview Amphitheater nearby to spread things out, as one possibility.
No idea who that is. The fair is a fun thing to do if nothing else is going on. Only so many cows and butter sculptures you can take in. The rest is just food venders. A real cash cow for the state. No wonder they wanted to open this year.
That's fantastic. It is kind of funny to think that he's now in the oldies bin since he's playing state fairs now.
Any of you take the train to it before? How is it?
