Cause i dont know how to drive manual plus idk if id like to worry about shifting all the time. I really like the style of the car especially that hood scope. The legacy seems to be somewhat the same style without the hood scoop though it looks like

I've always been a fan of the WRX and particularly the STI. I don't want them to come with automatics but I'm just being biased. If they offer an automatic and the take rate is significantly higher than the manual before you know it the manual trans will no longer offered. Unfortunately (for me), that is the general direction that U.S. automotive market has been heading in for many years.

If it makes you feel any better, the automatic WRX was dropped for precisely the reverse reason. You'll notice the auto WRX's on the used market sell at a discount about equivalent to the cost to replace the transmission with a manual.

Probably not. This is one model where the automatics just didn't sell well.
Yeah, the WRX just was never at home with the 4 speed automatic. There's a CHANCE a new one will come with an optional CVT, but it probably won't be popular, and they might not bother.
You're probably better off checking out the upcoming 2014 Forester XT. The engine, chassis, and suspension are pretty much WRX or close to it, and it uses a CVT instead of a stick. Probably the closest you'll get to an automatic WRX.
Then buy an automatic Impreza(non wrx) and ask(pay) them to install one a hood scoop. Problem = Solved
This^^^.
WRX buyers are generally looking for better performance. 4 cylinders (even turbo) + automatic doesn't usually equal better performance. I certainly wouldn't pay all the extra money for the WRX performance if appearance was more my goal.
If you like it buy the manual, it'll take you 2 hours to learn to drive it and in a couple of months all of it will be motorskills and you don't "worry about changing gears".
Whats the difference between the sti and no sti. I dont really want the big spoiler
