Walmart Supercenter #6886, locating at the northwest corner of East Greenville Drive and Roberts Boulevard in the Town of Williamston, South Carolina, is opening Wednesday, 13 May 2015. The 155,000 square feet store will include a full service supermarket, pharmacy, auto service center, home and living, and garden center. A gas station is unconfirmed.

It is still a wooded lot and just rumors. Nothing but trees. No construction. Wal-Mart's website is incorrect. Maybe a few years from now

Walmart Supercenter #6886 has not been issued a pharmacy permit by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. New pharmacies open within 45 days after initial permits are issued.

It seems Walmart jumped the gun on announcing the opening date of a new store that has not been constructed yet. Disregarding that error, the Town of Williamston and the surrounding area are getting Walmart as a major retailer in the near future.
