In terms of the UK it is no longer part of the EU and does not have to adhere to such European Court of Justice (ECJ) decisions.
Furthermore the UK government, has previously threatened to to prevent English teams taking part in any potential ESL even if this means introducing new legislation.
The Government has also recently introduced a
new independent football regulator which would further protect the interests of fans and their local clubs in relation to any such future proposals.
Meanwhile UEFA said in a statement that it took “note of the judgement,” adding that “ruling does not signify an endorsement or validation of the so-called 'super league'” but rather “underscores a pre-existing shortfall within UEFA's pre-authorisation framework, a technical aspect that has already been acknowledged and addressed in June 2022".
