Well, first of all, you never were and never will be God. Never even been "almost a God".

Second of all, all your posts are not rooted in the real world most of us live in.
You quote movies and TV shows, many of which none of us have seen. You make reference to fantasy characters instead of actual people. You quote entire obscure scenes, which do not help in the least.

Nothing is ever asked in plain conversational English.
Are you able to do that?

Amen to both points!

The only thing I can compare this conversation to is the time my neighbor made tea with mushrooms from his cow field. Some people tried to keep him on topic but he just kept rambling. Eventually he laid down on the floor under the ceiling fan and watched it go around and around. When someone turned it off, he went outside and climbed a tree, saying he was going to prune it. He sawed off the limb he was sitting on.

OMG!! That's horrible, he needed help way before he did that.

Apparently he was a "grower" and I never knew it. His cows weren't fed grain with the ingredient that keeps the shrooms from growing. He would walk his fields after a hard rain and a few days of good sun, and find the shrooms under certain trees.

Old age/retirement is no different than any other time in life, you adapt and go forward.

News flash!

Science fiction books and movies, and comic books, ARE NOT REALITY.

Now we'll return you to your regularly scheduled doses of reality-evasion.

After retiring, General Schwarzkopf (the general in charge of Desert Shield/Storm) had this to say:

"I used to be able to make a single command and 541,000 people would listen. Now I can't get a plumber to do what I want."
