Links?
It's not surprising. Also so many people coming back to the U.S. and flying and having been in hot zone countries.
People going home from all over, seasonal workers, people out of work... there is certainly no containment possible.

SC got their shipment of the protective gear from the national stockpile.
They used the national guard to deliver it to all the counties.

Link below has a video showing the pallets and the national guard caravan driving off.
I'm assuming the other states got their shipments as well this morning.

A small ray of sunshine for the medical workers.

There has been some controversy over how DHHS has been distributing supplies, Florida got all they asked for, other states got much less than they requested. DHHS seems to be basing their distribution on the state's population, not their current shortages.

University of Tampa. 5 students, all on Spring break over on the east coast of Florida.
They brought back more than tans and t-shirts

Not surprised. FL, with its spring break people and high senior population, is an explosion in slo-mo.

Oh it gets better. New Yorkers are fleeing NY and returning to Florida to their snowbird homes.
Governor wants them to self-quarantine for 14 days...honor system of course.

The doctor on ABC ( nice looking blond woman) said if you go out you have to remove your clothes when you come home and put them in the washer. You don't wear them again without washing.

I think this whole fiasco is going to cause a lot of folks to reassess where they live, work, and play.

I live in Tennessee. Our governor has been incredibly casual about coronavirus. There is no statewide shelter in place order, though the larger cities like Nashville and Knoxville have done it on their own. Many businesses in my city remain open in a "business as usual" manner, even though we're now starting to see some significant community spread. All the call centers, including a large call center that probably employs well over 1,000 people, are all working in the office. Many of these call centers are 24x7, and staff don't even have cubes to themselves - they share cubes. Local restaurants didn't close until Sunday, and this weekend was completely business as usual locally.

My employer finally let us work from home yesterday, and it was a last minute scramble on Sunday night to get our phones forwarded, equipment together, etc. Completely disjointed. We have an older labor force (8/11 on my team are over 50, most of those are over 60) and work on the same floor of a large office building that also houses a pediatrician. Meanwhile, a lot of my work projects are stalled or greatly slowed down because my vendors and contractors that I work with have been out of office for at least two weeks already. Right now, people are doing the minimums to keep the ship afloat.

Tennessee's cases are growing exponentially. Contrast us with nearby Kentucky, which took much more stringent social distancing measures a couple weeks ago, and which are more aggressive than what we have now. They've flattened the curve much better.
