I'm happy to announce that after my positive one-year check-up on my new hip I don't have to go back for four more years. Huzzah!!

Always nice to hear a positive report on a joint replacement!

I had a total knee replacement in December 2014. Not one problem since.

I have other problems now, but at least the knee is good!

That color is beautiful, Tek.

When I bought my new car in August 2018 (a Hyundai Sonata) it was a boring silver color. I took it because it was the best price of all the cars I was looking at.

We looked at the Sonata PHEV, but they were only available in CA and no one here was certified to work on them. Nice car!

I will be 68 years-old on the 25th of September. How is that possible? I was only 20 just yesterday and now I'm an old fossil!

Was thinking of treating myself to a day up in Telluride to get up in the mountains and check out the fall colors. I could treat myself to dinner at some posh eatery, maybe have a glass of wine or two at the bar and flirt with the hopelessly young bartender!

But that will be a major expenditure on my slim budget. Telluride or hold onto my cash?

Decisions, decisions...

If it were up to me, I'd go for Telluride! Not to be morbid, but who knows what next year will bring, and as we who live in Colorado know, there are very few days when aspen fall foliage is at its peak!

Happy Birthday, btw!!

P.S. Hey, maybe you can ask some young (or even not so young) person to join you!

TRide is over rated. I would spend the day in Ouray.

Agree. But without a car, it's difficult to get from Cortez to Telluride. Bustang will take me to Telluride or Ridgway, but then I'd have to walk from Ridgway to Ouray. I'd love to believe that I could do that but I gotta be realistic.
