I save the heavy projects for the winter as yarn is too warm to work with anytime else. I do crochet with filet yarn other times.

The point is, we take advantage of the cold months to do things we don't in other months. The warm months we want to be outside as much as possible & Don't want to do winter things.
I agree. I do live the winter months but not much as before. Ice and snow keep me inside when before i was all out in it. I am just going to adjust a bit and move to a tropical climate and start a new phase and adventure of my life. I will still love the midwest.

And that's certainly your right. For myself, after reading all the posts, I doubt very seriously that I could find such a nice apartment with utilities included for $335 per month. So sometimes it's nice to think of moving somewhere warmer, my reality is that I like the extra dollars in my pocket & being able to have extra every month.

Go the RV route, great was to introduce your self to warm places in winter. Its my second year as a snowbird living the worst of winter in the SW. Overall My cost of living evens out . shutting down the house, not plowing snow everyday etc. covers the extra cost of RV park fees , and diesel fuel. Today there are many choices when considering an RV. In my case my motorhome is more plush than my house, why would I not want to live in it......for 4 -5 months of the year.
