Why do so many people dismiss idea that we keep living the same life over and over?

I would be more inclined to believe reincarnation before the idea proposed here.Reincarnation would imply you have a higher self your unaware of that holds all the experiences of every life lived.You could never be the same person twice.Genetics culture family would not allow you to be exactly the same and what would be the point of having the exact experience over and over that would be hell.

Eh, I’m not big into science fiction (which best surmises the genre of OP’s myriad theories). This one in particular is rather derivative. As I recall, OP has started other threads with more creative premises, albeit with various plot holes.
