(Other) faces that Day will be joyful,
Glad with their endeavour (for their good deeds which they did in this world, along with the true Faith of Islamic Monotheism).
In a lofty Paradise.
Where they shall neither hear harmful speech nor falsehood.
Therein will be a running spring.
Therein will be thrones raised high.
And cups set at hand.
And cushions set in rows.
And rich carpets (all) spread out.
The description of the Paradise which is promised unto those who keep their duty (to Allah)
Underneath it rivers flow;
its food is everlasting and its shade;
this is the reward of those who keep their duty,
while the reward of disbelievers is the Fire.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) was asked :
'Do we have sex in Paradise?'
He answered:
'Yes, by him who holds my soul in his hand,
and it will be done dahman, dahman (that is intercourse done with such shove and disturbance).
And when it is finished she will return pure and virgin again.
But for him who fears the standing before his Lord, there will be two Gardens (i.e. in Paradise).
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
With spreading branches.
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
In them (both) will be two springs flowing (free).
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
In them (both) will be every kind of fruit in pairs.
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
Reclining upon the couches lined with silk brocade, and the fruits of the two Gardens will be near at hand.
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
Wherein both will be Qasirat-ut-Tarf [chaste females (wives) restraining their glances, desiring none except their husbands],
with whom no man or jinni has had tamth before them.
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
(In beauty) they are like rubies and coral.
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
Is there any reward for good other than good?
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
And besides these two, there are two other Gardens (i.e. in Paradise).
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
Dark green (in colour).
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
In them (both) will be two springs gushing forth.
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
In them (both) will be fruits, and date-palms and pomegranates.
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
Therein (Gardens) will be Khairatun-Hisan [fair (wives) good and beautiful];
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
Hur (beautiful, fair females) guarded in pavilions;
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
With whom no man or jinni has had tamth before them.
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
Reclining on green cushions and rich beautiful mattresses.
Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
Blessed be the Name of your Lord (Allah), the Owner of Majesty and Honour.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) said
When the dwellers of Paradise enter Paradise,
an announcer will call: (You have a promise from Allah that)
you will live therein and you will never die;
you will stay healthy therein and you will never fall ill;
you will stay young and you will never become old;
you will be under a constant bliss and you will never feel miserable.
I was thinking about this last night. Wouldn't it be lovely if, in heaven someone had a wonderful memory of you of something you did together, you got to do the memory with them again? In this case I was thinking of the wonderful time my grandparents spent with us at Christmas.
But it made me wonder, what do people think heaven is actually like? Please don't get into a discussion of whether heaven exists or not. This question is strictly for people WHO BELIEVE IN SOME FORM OF HEAVEN..
I will begin by writing that we don't die - we move. We're going from this location to the next world, which is also called the Spirit World aka Heaven and it's very much like it is here. There are hills and valleys and rivers and lakes. All sorts of flowers and trees and lovely landscapes. All types of homes built of various materials. There are universities for learning new things.
We will definitely see our relatives after we "move" to our new location. At some point our mother and father will become our sister and brother and we will eventually all appear to be of the same age in the late 20's. No more oldies but goodies.
Friends see each other all the time. They have parties and one thing that's cool is they communicate with their thoughts and if they want to visit with somebody, they "think" it and they're transported to their location instantly.
Note, Hell is what you might call a huge swamp. The fire and brimstone are only of the mind - the scourgings of the conscience for whatever wrongdoing the spirit did on earth. There is a process to get out of this situation as Hell isn't eternal.
I am fairly certain GoCardinals was being sarcastic. However, I am curious why you would be leaving the forum permanently.
MysticPhD Thanks for asking this question, I think Katy Perry's song firework sums it up best for me as to why I have to leave. awhile back I received a vision from God reminding me I'm a mortal and so is everyone else. Sometimes we take that for granted and even though we realize our mortality, we sometimes forget about it. My time here is limited, and I must use these precious last few moments on City Data, to streak across the sky like a firework. The lights, the explosions are so pretty but they only last for just a moment. Just like our life does! We can be quiet, live on and fade away, or for one brief second, we can shoot across the sky, be our best and inspire others to be their best too! Don't get stuck in a rut, don't take life for granted, and don't fade away into the background! For one brief second of your life, get on that stage and show everyone your shine, so that they can show you theirs!
As to the Righteous (they will be) in a position of Security,
Among Gardens and Springs;
Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other;
So; and We shall join them to fair women with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes.
There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security;
Nor will they there taste Death, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the Penalty of the Blazing Fire,-
As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement!

Adam and Eve started out righteous and they were among the Garden (Eden) and Springs ( rivers )
Jesus will undo the damage Satan and Adam caused by eliminating enemy death on Earth - 1st Corinthians 15:24-26
Thus, starting with the figurative living humble 'sheep' at the 'time of separation' on Earth - Matthew 25:31-34,37 - righteous mankind can and will return to the Garden and it's Springs just as Eden originally was a sample to follow.
