We are all children of G-d. Jesus was no more, no less. The concept of "begotten son" or anything remotely supernatural is not what the messiah yet to come would be. Jesus was one of many false prophets over the millenia, but just had a better PR team than most.
One must go through the NT in it's chronological order. Then we see how Jesus changes from the firstborn of all creation, and Christians are the brothers and sisters of Jesus to how Jesus evolves in to being the one and only son.
Firstborn implies there will be more, NOT exclusivity. Jesus is ONE OF US and was "born again" as the Holy Spirit (Comforter). What He achieved He achieved for us ALL and our task is to follow Him as "born again" Spirits in resonance with Him!
I know this is a very touchy subject for a lot of people, and may be a fundamental issue in their faith.
However, we need to know the origin of this belief. It needs to be a believable and authoratative source for it to become a fundamental of our belief system.
What if we are ALL sons of God? Can we ALL call God our "Father" which means we are his sons/daughter and lay claim to a direct familial link to God?
If not, then maybe we can be cousins or second cousins, or just best mates?
So, lets have at it...
There is no documented proof for the existence of a supreme deity.

So, when Paul claims several hundred saw Him resurrected, he was wrong, lying?
But there certainly are things that make you go…hmmm…
For some who have been directly touched by those things that make you go hmmm... (e.g. NDEs), the certitude of objective reality is not quite as certain as it once seemed.

I was thinking more along the lines of the expanse of the universe, the complexity of the human eye, etc.
