The song is a clandestine tribute to a demon using the guise of Christian sensibilities.
Beatles = Vastly overrated

Oh, my goodness ...I am in total agreement with you on this one, Mike! I'm not sure about 'the clandestine tribute to a demon using the guise of Christian sensibilities' part but CERTAINLY the 'vastly overrated' part. The Beatles were the result of a hugely successful mass marketing campaign. People were under the spell of mass hypnosis even before the Beatles proved themselves as successful songwriters. Some of the Beatle die-hards still are! Anyway, any more talk about them is probably intended for a different thread.
By the way, I became mildly acquainted with George Harrison in the 1980's when I worked as a musician on Hamilton Island, Queensland. He had a property over there and, since it's an island, we would run into one another now and again. One night several of us sat around with Harrison and I remember in particular playing guitar with him on Here Comes The Sun. He was 'okay' as a guitarist but so were many others. To quote the cliche, he just happened to be in the right place at the right time as can be said for many other successful artists.
Not a big Beatles fan here, either, though there are some songs I like. And I know this will bring down the wrath of somebody, but I can't stand the song "Imagine". Treacly and ridiculous, plus John Lennon's perpetually-stuffed-nose voice never appealed to me.
I don't see Krishna as a demon, however. That's a new one here, but I suspect that was said for Internet Forum Shock Value. What people won't say for their own entertainment.

Yes! Imagine is awful.
"Imagine this song was actually clever"
I know my lyrics don't quite fit with the music, but I don't claim to be a musician or a songwriter.

Nope, no IFSV here. The Psalms says that the gods of the Gentiles are devils.
Absolutely Elvis; though the older I get the more I think all those old people warning about rock 'n roll being the devil's music may have been on to something...
