"O Allah! You are my Lord.
There is no God except You.
You created me and I am Your slave.
To the best of my ability, I will abide by my covenant and pledge to You.
I seek Your protection from the evil of my own creation.
I acknowledge Your favors to me and I admit my sins.
So please forgive me for no one can forgive sins except You."
If a believer says this with complete faith and sincerity then all the sins between him and Allah will be removed
that apply for any sin between Allah and the person only
and does not include the sins or crime against others
as attacking them or as taking their rights by any how
in this case forgiveness and repent is not enough
but the rights of the people that were taking must be returned to them if they do not forgive .
I think any one who does not know that the main name of the creator is Allah in any language
he can use the word my creator
the idea is pray to the god, the creator
I don't believe that the English word Yahweh is one of the names of the god
i think it was translated wrong from the original language or diverted
and not only the name of the god was translated wrong but many prophets names
the English word Jesus is not the correct translation or pronunciation for Christ,
the correct translation or pronunciation is Isa
The name of the god is Allah and he is the only god
Allah has many beautiful names
but his name in all the languages is Allah
here are the names of Allah (Name/Transliteration Translation)

Truth Teller is praying to Allah and they are saying that is what they are doing. Allah is Allah in his language of prayer.
You can, if you wish, repeat that prayer to Yahweh or to Christ or whoever you wish.

I get that. And it's interesting he didn't affirm it. I don't believe Allah exists, he doesn't believe Yahweh exists. We don't share the same God.

He did affirm it, in his own way.
The bolded. Are these not good responses?
Indian Christians pray to Yesu or Isa as well, and call God Kartar - creator in Sanskrit which is the base for all Indian languages.
It is not what you call him that is important, that you pray is. I believe that is what OP was trying to say.
As a Hindu I have no difficulty to believe Allah is how Muslims call the Divinity that I pray to as well. Hindus also call God by many names, thousands of names. Each of the gods.
That's cool if Allah is down with forgiveness. I can roll with that. No reason they can't have that kind of stuff too. Better than some of the stuff we see here from a certain hate-filled atheist.

To believe this, you would need to believe there is more than one God and that WE determine who God is by what WE believe, which is absurd!! God is God and what WE believe about Him does NOT determine who He is!! That is the main and major problem with religions that are entirely born of human vanity and hubris. We are all free to believe what we wish about God but that does NOT determine ANYTHING about who God actually IS! Any and all pretense that we have the "secret decoder ring" to the knowledge of God is pure arrogance. As Paul said (paraphrased), if we knew God we would never have scourged and crucified Jesus!!! It seems nothing has changed since Paul was around. As Jesus (who IS God Himself to me) said, "we know not what we do"!
