Some seem to think that the "worship" of God means, to spend 24/7/365 on our knees, hands in the air, telling God how "great" He is.
Meanwhile, NO WHERE in the bible does it say to do this.
So, what does it mean to "worship" God?
Worship is honoring and loving God, giving praise, thanksgiving and reverence to Him. We can do this through prayer, meditation, song, Bible study, giving, works, fellowship with other believers, and sharing the gospel.
We "worship" something when we ascribe worth to it/them.
We can worship God by conscious actions such as singing, prayer, proclaiming his word. The Bible is full of commands to honor God through prayer and sacrifice. We also have examples of Christians in the early church praying, proclaiming his name, etc.
I've always wondered what the creator of the universe would actually think of our traditional Sunday worship service?
I wonder if he admires our Sunday duds that we wear? If he likes the robes and candles and candle boys? How about pews (with or without kneeling boards)? I wonder how he feels about hymns and worship music? Or liturgies? Organ, piano, acapella?
I know one thing though. He really likes offering plates.

We know the answer to all that.
In Isaiah 66:2, the Lord says, “These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, and who tremble at my word.”
And the same applies for those of us who are atheists who talk about things christians do. You seem to want a different set of rules for christians because you're special.
It's a spiritual form of communication, as a relationship, and basically a two-way street of:
1) Showing attention and support for God, through ways such as singing to him, saying positive words about him, and thanking him in prayer.
2) Trying learn from him; mostly through personal time together in prayer, and learning through experiences.
It should be made very clear that no church, or building, or group/club is needed for any of that.
