Once again, as has been said here so many times, the Episcopal Church generally doesn't give a rat's ass if you are a member of their church or not. Unlike other churches, they don't believe that they are the "right" church or even in many cases that Christianity is the "right" religion.
That is admirable as long as the focus is on the religion part! I hope they don't think Jesus is NOT the best representative of God's TRUE NATURE of agape love and forgiveness no matter what we do as He unambiguously revealed on the Cross!

Well, obviously as a Christian Church they do think that way for themselves, but they also do not rule out the validity of other faiths who think otherwise, as well.

There is a poster in this forum who typically pounces on that sort of language as typical and indicative of immoral, crass and low-life atheists. Interesting there isn't the same sort of objection when posted by a non-atheist, but again we all know how that sort of thing works...
I am not sure how any church really believes they are not the "right" church, or why are they a part of a church separate, apart or different from the others? I am also not sure if there are not many other church's that really don't give a rat's ass if you are a member of their church or not. Most always seem to have a "take it or leave it" sort of attitude, not withstanding their efforts to convince you you should take it.

I'll pass either way thank you...
Well, we know why they are part of a church separate, apart and different from the others. Henry VIII wanted a divorce, and the rest, as they say, is history. Literally.
But no, there are not many Christians churches that say "Hey WE might follow this spiritual path, but it's cool if you follow a different one". That was the point.
No worries about having to "pass". How likely is it that you've ever encountered a proselytizing Episcopalian, lol.
