Nope. It's a claim.

However, and the above link does a very good job of making this point, if there were even a single medical text giving the total # of joints in the human body which you can point to (and I doubt you can, because the author of the above page seems to have put quite a lot of effort into it), and if this latest number was revised upward in 1995 as alleged, who is to say it won't be revised again in the future? It's a rather nebulous "proof" even if valid.

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
