The compilation of daily gems of wisdom was done by HP Blavatsky in Summer of 1890:

https://www.theosociety.org/pasadena/gems/gems.htm

This quote leads the entries for January:

Quote:
Rise! Awake!
Seek the great Teachers, and attend! The road
Is narrow as a knife-edge! Hard to tread!"
"But whoso once perceiveth HIM that IS; —
Without a name, Unseen, Impalpable,
Bodiless, Undiminished, Unenlarged,
To senses undeclared, without an end,
Without beginning, Timeless, Higher than height,
Deeper than depth! Lo! Such an one is saved!
Death hath not power upon him!"
— Katha Upanishad

Complete Blavatsky
The entire stock of those 4 volumes & plates to print them were destroyed by the Nazi blitz of London in WW II.
The present series, also edited by Boris de Zirkoff was titled the Collected Writings. It began again in 1950.

Here is Boris de Zikoff giving the history of the numbered series (14 vols + Index) of HPB's writings:

Excerpt from that letter to Archbishop:

Quote:
Theosophy is not a religion, but a philosophy at once religious and scientific; and that the chief work, so far, of the Theosophical Society has been to revive in each religion its own animating spirit, by encouraging and helping enquiry into the true significance of its doctrines and observances. Theosophists know that the deeper one penetrates into the meaning of the dogmas and ceremonies of all religions, the greater becomes their apparent underlying similarity, until finally a perception of their fundamental unity is reached. This common ground is no other than Theosophy — the Secret Doctrine of the ages; which, diluted and disguised to suit the capacity of the multitude, and the requirements of the time, has formed the living kernel of all religions.

Commenting on a correspondent’s letter, (CW IV:297-98) H.P. Blavatsky wrote:

Quote:
We fear our correspondent is labouring under various misconceptions. We will not touch upon his very original views of Karma — at its incipient stage — since his ideas are his own, and he is as much entitled to them as anyone else. But we will briefly answer his numbered questions at the close of the letter.

1 Spirit got itself entangled with gross matter for the same reason that life gets entangled with the fœtus matter. It followed a law, and therefore could not help the entanglement occurring.

2 We know of no eastern philosophy that teaches that “matter originated out of Spirit.” Matter is as eternal and indestructible as Spirit and one cannot be made cognizant to our senses without the other — even to our, the highest, spiritual sense. Spirit per se is a non-entity and non-existence. It is the negation of every affirmation and of all that is.

3 No one ever held — as far as we know that Spirit could be annihilated under whatever circumstances. Spirit can get divorced of its manifested matter, its personality, in which case, it is the latter that is annihilated. Nor do we believe that “Spirit breathed out Matter”; but that, on the contrary, it is Matter which manifests Spirit. Otherwise, it would be a puzzle indeed.

4 Since we believe in neither “God” nor “Satan” as personalities or entities, hence there is neither “Heaven” nor “Hell” for us, in the vulgar generally accepted sense of the terms. Hence also — it would be a useless waste of time to discuss the question.

Quote:
The Voice of the Silence being
CHOSEN FRAGMENTS from the
‘‘BOOK OF THE GOLDEN PRECEPTS.’’
FOR THE DAILY USE OF LANOOS (DISCIPLES).
Preface begins:

Quote:
The following pages are derived from “The Book of the Golden Precepts,” one of the works put into the hands of mystic students in the East. The knowledge of them is obligatory in that school, the teachings of which are accepted by many Theosophists. Therefore, as I know many of these Precepts by heart, the work of translating has been relatively an easy task for me.

All praise and glory belongs to God, the Most Great and the Most Mighty, there is no god but God, none has the right to be worshipped except God, God is the King and Protector and Lord and Light of the heavens and the earth and everything in them, God is the Most Great and the Most Glorious, God is The Truth, God listens to the one who praise Him, God let's His choosen ones see Him, God is the Ruler of the sun (for those who know), and the birds (for those who know) praise God daily and constantly, God is the Most Magnificent, God is Absolute Love and Absolute Goodness!
--------

Divine Wisdom is Absolute Knowledge directly from God with no intermediates, as in God-Consciousness.

1.Spirits and demons and the soul and other supernatural spiritual beings (infinite of them actually) exists absolutely, by Truth (it being confirmed and said so by God Himself, as He would know, as He created them and knows everything, only a dummy having his head under the sand would propose that God only created things that have bodies made of matter or only things of the earth, or the objective world, which doesn't exist, and these beings exists even due not observed in the supposed 'objective world', nice try. And they are not a matter of 'subjective' experience or depended upon it, they exists ABSOLUTELY. GOD HIMSELF HAS SAID THEY EXISTS. In God-Consciousness. Which is the same as The Truth. Which is the same as The God.

Muslims are to believe in the angels and the jinns (dark/evil and good/light spirits) and the unseen (not unseen for the many slaves of God, including God) rightfully, so believe if you don't know (by not having seen them), and have faith, and trust those who have seen them and confirm and declare their existence, and trust the Glorious Quran (which is certainly Inspired by God) which says and declares so.

2. God IS, God is Alive, God exists. This, in God-Consciousness, you will Realize and become conscious (conscioussness-states determines everything) of is Absolutely Truth. God exists. period. Absolutely. The atheist is as stupid as a baby monkey. Let them continue their disbelief, until death wakes them up, God could (not even easily but ...) make an atheist submit to Him and cry for forgiveness (for his previous disbelief) and weep in love and praise God in Awe of Him, but God, by His Absolute Omnipotent Will doesn't appear to them and also lets them disbelieve until death (Death is Awakening, the atheist will know God one day or another, certainly) takes them, and the reason for this (why God never appears to atheists their entire earthly life) is mysterious (this knowledge belongs to God Alone). Either it's God' Will to not appear to them in this life (for a mysterious reason or plan, God knows it Alone) or the atheist had a choice and used their free will to choose to not believe in God, and thus, God can't appear to them by their own self-choosen-willed disbelief. Either way. God exists. Easily.

3. God IS consciousness. God is Alive. God is Be-ing. Looking through your eyes and moving your body and moving your fingers (as well as teaching you with them) and so on, speaking through your voice and mouth and your mind (God speaks to man), is common stuff in God-Consciousness.

Just to name a few divine Truths.

God-Consciousness is the Highest and Most Fundamental and Most Primary state that there is, it's beyond experience and cool visions or cool OBE's (it's more True and Primary than any cool experience), it's the Most High and Most Great Realization and Acknowledgement and Recognition... as the Hindu Yogis rightly proclaimed...

That God is Consciousness.
