1. Imagine (for a minute or two) that you are a Christian,
Imagine that you're in a Debate Online (City-Data.com, Religion And Spirituality Forum)
This Debate is on "The Existence Of God".
What argument(s) (as far as Evidence For The Existence Of God is concerned), would you present to the "Opposition" in your attempt(s) to "convince" them that there are Sound reasons to believe in God's existence?
Part 2 (This Is for the Christians to address):
2. Imagine for a moment or two that you're an Atheist
Imagine that you're Online (City-Data.com probably). You're in the same Debate as presented in
Part 1 above.
What argument(s) would you present to the "Opposition", in your attempt(s) to "convince" them that there are Good reasons to not believe or to suspend belief (in God's existence)....until convincing evidence shows up?
Sincere arguments (and opinions) from both sides will be appreciated.

Reason: Sorting out the "Paragraphs" issue.
As a Christian it would demean God to even try to tell others that God does not exist and I could not do that to God , Just like saying that my spouse does not exist where My spouse would witness the lie ...................... Believing in God comes to the individual , like it is difficult for others to believe in God unless they move into my body and walk in my shoes ,.................. as God does not witness Himself to the faithless ,............ so people need to seek God through repentance and love for God , and He will reveal himself to though sincere in heart , and give them a witness for them to believe better .................. Like my first comment to demean God as if God did not exist to the Christian , as God just had some lame passion of religion and God would be some conjecture of ideas , then it would not matter if Christian would demean God and lie about Him , But I do know He is there as I had multiple witnesses that His exists , and would not try to offend him
Surprisingly , I am agog to see what is their Best Shot as persuasive evidence for the existence of A god and B their god.
It is of course going to turn into a debunk and denial slugfest, but I'm curious to see what they say - not what evidence they put forward; we already know it amounts to somewhat less than a line of legumes (purty writin' hay, Arach? ) but whether they post their best evidence or a lot of evasions and excuses.
1 excuse (we shouldn't even be asking for evidence), 1 bad evidence (faith)
Hm I gecha - let the atheist come up with some of the best arguments they think theism can produce for God, while the Christians come up with 'As an atheist, I hate God, just want to sin and am evil and stupid'.
But truth will out, and we need never be afraid of it, nor of lies, provided we can expose them.
I still think, after all, it's a good idea
Anyone like to see my best shot for (as distinct from my best shot at) the god-claim?

It doesn't look like trolling to me. It's always a good idea to look at things from another's point of view if even just for your own understanding and not to convince them. I was a Christian and all the reasons why slowly were debunked. most of it was cognitive distortions and some was downright manipulation by my childhood masters. I can't think of anything that works yet. If I do I will be starting by saying that the God of the Bible is the same as the God of Islam as Judaism as Hindu as all the other spiritual practices that all point to the same thing but just from another perspective. except Tao because the first rule of Tao is you don't talk about Tao.
Why should I defend my belief in God?
I believe God exists, it is what I choose, what I know to the core of my being, what is right for me.
You and others having free will have the same choice as I to believe or not.
I can tell you why I believe however, I refuse to argue with you regarding my belief being right or wrong and honestly
the only reason some even talk about God *whom they know does not exist* is to argue.
I am still curious how those who do not believe God exists can talk so much about *nothing*......
